Diet Buddies...  
I really need to go on a diet again.
As much as they don't tend to hold for me in the long term due to my stress eating, it's something I should be doing to try to get my weight under control.

Is anyone out there interested in being 'diet buddies'?
As in, willing to diet with me and share successes/failures/etc.?

I plan on using fitday.com as a tool.
Although if I can get a few people together, I might toss up a private wiki site so that everyone can see each other's progress and update together there.

Just a thought.
Otherwise, I'll do it by myself.

I'd be happy to help any way I can. I've been dieting by myself for the past 6 months and went from 231 to 168 lbs, but plan to lose 28 more lbs, which should take ~4 months.

You'll have to find out what works for you, but lots of vegetables works for me: 2-3 lbs of vegetables a day, a quarter pound of lean meat (fish, poultry), a handful of nuts, and 1-2 fruit/day.

I'm interested >^_^< Mostly I need a 'gym buddy' Eating is less my problem then just not getting enough exercise.

Well you don't want to go on too stressful of a diet... it's why many fail. It's best to view it as a change of your lifestyle.

I think this is a great idea... Count Me In!!!

I need to finish losing my excess(about 26 kg/57.2 pounds-- I'll decide as I get close to my goal when I'm comfortable with my weight) and I just put on another kilo so it's time to buckle under. I'll probably start some time on the weekend and I'll be using the book I used to lose the first 20 kg.
